Sadness

It is with great sadness that I share with you the Squirrrel died last night. Chris came home from work yesgterday and said it was obvious that Squirrel hadn't eaten or had anything to drink all day and was barely moving. Chris had him wrapped up and on a heating pad since he was so cold.

When I got home I took Squirrel for a little while and sat with him wrapped up and kept warm. We feed him some of the formula we started with and Squirrel started moving and being playful again. We were so hopeful that we had turned a corner. We placed Squirrel in his box and went to bed.

This morning Squirrel was gone. We are both pretty sad about this, we had already had great plans in a where to keep him in our house.
